I use a variety of approaches and practical tools based on what each person needs. This may
include learning ways to work through difficult thoughts and emotions, manage stress, stay
grounded in the present, and develop healthier ways of coping. I also believe in taking time to
understand your values, experiences, and goals and working at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My approach is flexible because I believe therapy should fit the person, not the other way around. My years working in substance use treatment have shown me how much stigma and judgment can affect someone's willingness to reach out for support. I approach each person with curiosity and humility, recognizing that everyone brings their own experiences, values, culture, identity, strengths, and challenges into the counseling relationship. My goal is to offer a space built on empathy, transparency, and kindness while helping you develop greater self-awareness, practical coping skills, and a path forward that feels meaningful to you.
